Dr. Abraham Fingerhut (Абрахам Фингерхат) - MD, Professor of the Collège des Médecins des Hôpitaux de Paris since 2003, and Associate professor University of Athens.

His editorial/reviewer responsibilities include member of the Editorial board of some 15 journals. He has been President of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery 2009-11 and President of the European Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery 2010-2011. He is a member and/or officer in 17 National and international surgical associations. He is fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, (Honorary) Amercian Surgical Association, (Honorary ) Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburg, and Honorary member of the Greek Association for Surgery, Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Society of Asia, Japanese Association of Surgery, and Spanish Society of Surgery., American College of Surgeons and the International Society of Surgery. He has received several honors, including Honoris Causis from University of Graz, Austria, and University of China, TaiChung, Taiwan.
